Bubby the Apple Chia

Bubby lives on an apple farm in the Meridell countryside owned by Farmer Miller. When he isn't tending to the apple trees, he likes exploring with the farmer's son Al or learning new tunes on his pan flute.

Since he has never left the farm, Bubby knows very little of the world outside Meridell. He is sometimes clumsy and naive, making him an easy target for jokes and pranks by the locals. Al is often the only one to stick up for Bubby, since he is often too unaware to know that others are picking on him. One of Bubby's farm duties is pest control, which he isn't very good at. He even has a secret pet slorg named Macintosh (Mac for short) who he hides from Farmer Miller.

Despite all of this, Bubby is cheerful and upbeat, and always willing to lend a helping hand or play an uplifting tune for anyone who may need it!

Sunny the Coconut Chia

Krawk Island | Rogue | Chaotic Neutral

Sunny hails from Krawk Island, specifically the beaches of Smuggler's Cove. From the time she first dropped from her coconut tree, she has been rubbing elbows with the most notorious swashbucklers and thieves in Neopia. (well, she doesn't really have elbows but... you get what I mean)

Her travels have taken her all over and have resulted in her being quick and savvy, which has helped her sneak out of countless hairy situations through the years. Working with pirates and the like means Sunny is cautious and slow to trust others, and will often leave others behind the moment they fail to keep up with her schemes. Her life and line of work are sometimes very lonely, though she will never admit it.

Those that are closest to her believe that deep down under that hard shell lies a soft heart, but pointing this out may have you staring down the blade of a dagger if you aren't careful...

Tony the Agueena Chia

Mystery Island | Fighter | Neutral Good

TJ (Tony Jr.) lives on Mystery Island with his adoptive parents, Shirley and Tony. The couple moved to Mystery Island after retiring, but with no children of their own to come visit, they began to feel rather lonely. One day while out foraging, Shirley came upon a young Agueena Chia alone in the jungle. Not understanding that a fruit Chia is perfectly suited to live in the wild alone, she took him home and began to fuss over him, treating him as though he was her own baby. Tony Sr. was skeptical at first, but quickly warmed up to the idea after discovering that the youngster made all the chores that come with jungle life much easier.

Always wanting a son of their own, the couple decided to name the Chia Tony Jr, or TJ for short. Tony loves his adoptive parents dearly and doesn't mind them doting on him. He spends his days surfing, guiding tourists around the island, and gathering beautiful shells to bring home to Shirley for her arts and crafts.

Luna the Banana Chia

Deserted Island | Cleric | Lawful Neutral

Luna is from a small island to the north-east of Mystery Island. She is a member of the cult of the Mother Bunch, a group of moon-worshipping banana chias who see the moon as a big bunch of bananas slowly losing or gaining bananas throughout the lunar cycle.

Recently the group has split into two warring factions, those who worship the waning crescent and those who revere the waxing crescent. Luna is a high priestess on the side of the waning crescent, petitioning the moon to favor their side during battles for control of the island.

Luna has never left the isolated island, and therefore has no idea what the outside world holds. She is proficient not only in hand to hand combat, but also in dealing with harsh conditions and monsters that roam the island that she calls home.

Charity the Pepper Chia

Neopia Central | Druid | Lawful Good

Charity lives in Neopia Central and loves all things houseplant. She dreams of travelling the world to see all the exotic plants that grow in far off lands, but there's just one problem... She's terrified of bugs!

Thankfully her support petpet Bebe is helping her face her fear a little bit at a time. Maybe one day she will feel confident enough to travel without fear! Charity is kind and gentle, making sure all of her companions are well fed and hydrated before long journeys. Her proficiency in plant and animal magic despite having lived in the city her whole life makes her a useful ally to be sure!

Smiley the Lime Chia

Smiley rose to TV fame in Neopia Central and beyond seemingly overnight. From comedy clubs and sporting events, to celebrity red carpets and concerts, if there are lights, crowds, and cameras, Smiley is sure to be there.

Amongst all his other engagements, he is most well known for his late night variety show Up Late With Smiley. Weeknights from 8-9pm NST thousands of Neopians tune in to watch Smiley and his companion Louie as they sing, joke, interview, monologue, and whatever else they feel like doing that week. No matter the genre of content, the ratings are consistently through the roof, and Smiley has become a household name.

But not everyone is a fan of Smiley. There are whispers about how he really achieved such quick renown and fame, ranging from bribery and corruption in the entertainment industry, to dark magic and sorcery. Many have tried to corner Smiley in interviews and podcasts, but none thus far have been a match for his quick wit and ability to flip a conversation on its head, which he uses often to ensure he avoids scandal.
